How to cut it loose?
I have some friends and even family members that I had to love from a distance, because of they brought so much negativity to my life! No one is forcing you to be around those people, so don’t!
Rightly said. And what do you say to a person who endured four long years of toxicity foolishly hoping for better days?
I have learned that it is not healthy for me to dwell over the time I’ve lost with toxic people, instead it has helped me appreciate the time I do have left , and I have chosen to spend that time with good people I care about and creating my art. And the crazy thing is, I probably would not value those good people, if it were not for the toxic people.
Saw your reply very late. But better late than never. It is often in drought that you value the rain, to give a tropical example. So the good people are worth their weight in gold when you have been devastated by the wrong ones. I have learnt to avoid them like the plague and woe is me when circumstances force me to be civil to them as part of social role playing.
