DARK VS. LIGHT/COLORISM IN BLACK AMERICA: (POEM )

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DARK AND LIGHT

WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE SO DIFFERENT THAN I

LESS DIFFERENT AND MORE THE SAME, TWO PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PAIN

NEVER FORGET THE FACT THAT WE’RE BOTH BLACK

ME DARK AND YOU’RE LIGHT

FATE HAS SERVED US THE EXACT PLIGHT, SO WHY DO WE FIGHT OVER SOMETHING THAT IS MOT RIGHT

WHEN WE BOTH WERE ONCE TERRORIZED BY THE SAME HOODED COWARDS, WHO DID THEIR WICKEDNESS IN THE SHADOWS LIKE ROACHES IN THE NIGHT!image

YOU’RE A MONKEY! (Poem)

YOU’RE A MONKEY

IS SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN SAID MANY TIMES TO ME

NOT BY THE SO-CALLED WHITE DEVIL ENEMIES

BUT BY FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE AMERICAN NEGROID RACE FAMILY

WHO PASSED DOWN THEIR WHITE WASHED SELF-HATE TO ME

THE SAME WAY MY GHANAIAN FATHER PASSED DOWN HIS REGAL AFRICAN HISTORY!image

BLACK CRAB SYNDROME: (POEM)

image

What happened to our people many years ago, we as a people continue to do to each other today.

“The Man” (the system of white supremacy) can sit down, get some popcorn and enjoy as we fight like crabs in a barrel or lunatics full of rage in the ufc cage

Actually slavery and colonialism ended many years ago but slavery and colonialism of the brain continues to this day just as it did in its evil heyday!

MY ARCH ENEMY! (Crabs)(Poem)

My arch enemy is not a pasty face evil deity

But a young dark and handsome brotha from the hood like me

Programmed with several generations of self-hate

So like crabs in a barrel, they try to drag me down

So that I can share his same sad fate by repeating his same failures and mistakes!
